It was around this time last year, I spent several nights car-camping and exploring the east side of Glacier down into Augusta, MT. The weather was crisp and cool, skies were clear and not a sign of smoke anywhere in the sky - fire season was tame. Fast forward one year and we have half the park shut down due to Covid-19, as well as heavy smoke from the raging wildland fires on the west coast. I hope cold weather and lots of precipitation including heavy cold rains wallop the area very soon! Although I'm hardly with my camera in hand these days, and living two states away from home, I hope you all still enjoy seeing old photos from the archives. This image was taken last September at Two Medicine Lake. I remember arriving as the wind was raging. Light intermittently broke through; in and out of the clouds above. It seemed Mother Nature was confused on how to end the day.. Eventually, things calmed down and I enjoyed a relaxing evening on the shoreline before retiring to my plush camping pad in the backseat of my jeep! ——————————————————————————— Two Medicine Lake, Glacier National Park ⛅️ 🍁 ——————————————————————————— #glaciernationalpark #montanamoment #glaciernps #natgeo #montana #greatnorthcollective #nationaldestinations #reflectiongram #earth_reflect #earth_shotz #nationalparkgeek #lensbible #agameoftones #earthpix #earthoffical #wildernessculture #artofvisuals #depthobsessed #neverstopexploring #ig_captures #earthoutdoors #visualsoflife #fall #leaves #earthoutdoors #canonusa #leefilters #usinterior #reflection_shotz #visitmontana
