How much sun does a pencil cactus need? βœπŸŒ΅β˜€οΈπŸ’šπŸŒΏ The #pencilcactus ( #Euphorbiatirucalli ) Is the answer to your "what plant can I place in my bright, full sun window!" A sunny southern and western facing window/windowsill is a perfect location for this gorgeous succulent. β˜€οΈβœπŸŒ΅πŸŒΏπŸ’š Water πŸ’§ once a month in summer and every two months during winter (depending on conditions ) So glad to see this lovely bunch-o-pencils ✏🌡(pictured ) found a new home with a customer this past weekend. I keep my own Pencil Cactus in a south facing window. This plant does not appreciate low light. Give it all direct sunlight or leave it be! Direct sun, or plenty of bright light from a western, eastern window area. Pencil Cactus plants are also called #milkbush plants due to the thick, white sap inside β€” it's native to tropical places in Africa and India. In it's natural environment the Pencil Cactus grows up to 30 feet tall and well over 6 feet indoors. This stem succulent is not really a cactus. It photosynthesizes inside its stems, not through the small leaves which grow at the end of its new growth. Such an interesting beauty βœπŸŒ΅πŸŒΏβ˜€οΈπŸ’š #houseplants #plantsagram #pottedplants #Succulents #cactus #plantsmakepeoplehappy #Follow #houseplantsofinstagram #greenthumb #indoorjungle #plantaddict #indoorgarden #plantshopping #plantshop #weekendshop #buymoreplants #leaflovers #dontoverwater #leaves #foliage #plantcaretips #plantcare #houseplantdiary #plantinfluencer #Apothecary
