“Settled on being unsettling.” Self-Portraits. 2020 These were inspired by old photos I found of James Dean. #theselfportraitist
Finally got the courage to take self portraits outside. Then a group of runners ran by and as I awkwardly stood off to the side holding my tripod and camera, I waved and felt embarrassed. Good times. Btw these are women’s jeans. #theselfportraitist
These self portraits were taken over a month ago in my studio in LA. A lot of changes are entering my life right now, but taking self portraits and finding ways to be creative will always stay with me. No matter where I live or how much money is sitting in my bank account, I will never stop being an artist. #theselfportraitist
My new self portrait series titled “Against The Odds.” I’ll be posting a video on my YouTube channel explaining the process/story behind these images. For now, I’ll leave it here for your interpretation. #theselfportraitist
I was challenged by @irenerudnykphoto to create a self portrait using “Water” as the concept. The video of how we all created our own image is up on Irene’s YouTube channel. Wait till you see @sadowskaphoto and @irenerudnykphoto photo. Spoiler alert: they looked stunning! #theselfportraitist
I took these about a week ago and didn’t like them at all. However, now that I’ve spent time not constantly looking at them, I see a flow to them and now appreciate it. This happens often with me. I will not like certain photos right after I take them, but once I give it time to mean nothing, I’ll look back and let the photos tell me something and then I’ll appreciate it. It’s a toxic relationship really lol. Can anyone else relate? #theselfportraitist
When we think about how others view us, do you think a camera captures that? Or does it capture how we see ourselves? Maybe both? #theselfportraitist
New video on my YouTube channel: 5 Creative Minimalistic Photo Ideas. As hard as it’s been for me during this LA lockdown, at least I can still find some enjoyment by taking self portraits. Hope y’all enjoy these! #theselfportraitist
