First of all, I want to be clear that I don’t think police are bad. I don’t think they should be replaced. I think that most police are heros who risk their lives for us. So to the families of policemen- this must be a very difficult time. My heart is with you. . .In the research I’ve done I do feel like there could be better accountability in the police force. If police were required to keep and not eliminate records of force, then there would be records of individual cop history. This would keep the good cops safer and it would weed out people who shouldn’t be the leaders of our communities. . Regardless of if you feel differently, please know I love you. And I’m sorry if you’re hurting.
I’m crying as I write this. I’m seeing so many people hurting, or hurting others because they’ve been hurt. . My heart is so heavy and I think right now that is a good thing. I’m really thinking about what I need to do to make a difference. I think a lot of us don’t know what to do. . . So I wanted to start making a difference by sharing what I believe with all my heart; that we are all beautiful. We are all created by a god who loves us and he filled this world with beautiful diversity. I need to not only believe this - but I need to stand for it more. Talk about it more. @churchofjesuschrist . . Talk to your friends and family about how you feel. Let’s spread an epidemic of love while we actively educate and fight the hate.
I need an adult.

Because of these two, my quarantine time has been filled with treats, marvel movies, games and giggles.
I’m not going to let lack of equipment get in the way of creativity.
Your creativity amazed me week after week while on the show. You were the best dance partner I ever could have had but also, you became one of the best friends I’ve ever had. Thanks for supporting me through a breakup, a broken rib, and a tour, all while teaching me 12 ballroom dances and competing on national tv. You da best
I’m going to be full Burnett by the end of this.
😳😳 it’s here! Issue 2 of #Artemis is available for preorder now!! Get yours and check out bundle options - link in bio.
“When you don’t know what’s possible or impossible, sometimes you end up doing the impossible.” Loved spending time and talking with you @jayshetty ! Watch our full interview, link in bio.
Wow 9 years ago today I posted my first music video on the tubes. I was a BYU student working two jobs to pay my way through college. I had a very random idea that I wanted to be a dancing, electronic, violinist. The only problem was I didn’t know how to dance, I didn’t know how to make electronic music and I had no money. But I believed I can do it. That belief was stronger than any of the factors working against me. . . . Thanks @devinsupertramp for introducing me to the YouTube world. I never would have made it without you.
Happy birthday to @derekhough . The key to his success is not only his endless creativity but also constant generosity. . . This was the first project we ever did together and through countless creations since then, he’s become one of my favorite collaborators.
I’ve definitely had to improvise.
Another “strings sessions” comes out this Friday with this amazing rockstar. Any guesses as to who it is?
My mom grew up in an alcoholic home. Although her parents loved her, they didn’t always know how to show it. My mom taught me that just because your born into an existing story doesn’t mean you can’t write a new one. My mother worked really hard to change her life so that she could create a loving, safe home. She raised five children that have all gone on to create our own legacy, building on the changes she made.
Good hair. Had to share. . . . Ps. @echosmith - I’ve been living in this hoodie. Thanks for sending it to me.
