  Headed up to Big Bear Lake a few weekends ago — and spent a few cozy days sipping hot cocoa at a little cabin in the woods, hiking through pine trees, and waiting for the snow. ❄️ When I was packing for our little weekend adventure, I picked up a couple winter jackets by @muddstyle to cozy up in this December. 🌲🍂 This caramel-colored corduroy has definitely become one of my favorite winter pieces for snuggling up in all season ☺️✨ Check out all the #MuddStyle looks @Kohls #ad

  I always feel most at home among pine trees and sunshine -- mornings hiking in the woods and sipping oat milk chai out of my favorite thermos. 🌲 There was a light dusting of snow outside when we woke up in Big Bear, so I laced up my @ColeHaan #ZEROGRAND hikers and went outdoors to soak up the chilly November mountain air. 🌾 I absolutely love the Nordic style of these boots -- with the classic tan and navy tones, sherpa accents, and white-speckled laces that remind me of snowflakes. ❄️ #ColeHaanPaidPartner

  Some thoughts I scribbled down in my sketchbook at an airport in Oregon a few weeks ago: It feels good and new to truly understand that everything in life produces growth. I feel like this page wont be eloquent or perfect and I’m learning to love myself in the same way, but aren’t we all? Surround yourself with people who make you feel like you’re coming home when you’re with them. Have excitement for traveling, but also excitement for rest, help others, slow down. Find 1,000 ways a day to spend less time behind a screen — I can assure you, daytrips and sight-seeing and reading paperback books and swimming in the ocean will be well worth the time away from your device. So with that: let’s write a little more and talk about ourselves a little less, get outside whenever we can, pull over to watch sunsets, and love the people around you a little better than yesterday. #ContaxG2 #35mm #California #PacificCoast

  Fall is always the season where I feel most creative: the colder air, drives up the coast or through the mountains, and colorful leaves, all inspire my creative practice this time of year. 🍂🌾 After weekends spent exploring, I always come back home feeling refreshed and ready to get back to work. 🎨 Especially during this busy season, I want to make sure I’m taking a step back to care for my body and health.
